WHO WE ARE

The Northwestern Ontario Military and Police Museum actually began its journey in a room of the home of its owner and founder Bob Manns in 2003. His private collection gradually increased with purchases and donations of memorabilia and artifacts pertaining to the history of Canada's military, and Northwestern Ontario's Police services. The collection became so large and space for visitors so small that a new building was constructed on the same property in 2019. Today we host visitors from around the world who have the opportunity to view and, in some cases handle, artifacts from our past. Because we feel that it is important to keep this past alive, especially for our youth, admission is free for everyone. However, all donations go towards the upkeep and expansion of this wonderful tribute to our military and police personnel, past, present and future.
